Finance Intern: The City of Waseca, MN, is seeking an intern in the Finance Department. This temporary assignment provides an opportunity to learn about the City’s daily financial processes (general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipting) and gain valuable knowledge about a career in government finance. We are seeking a current or past student majoring in the Accounting field with an interest in government finance. Paid On-Call Part Time Firefighters: Minimum qualifications include: Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license. Must be able to respond to fires and other emergencies and live within 10 minutes of the Waseca Fire Station. Preferred Qualifications include: Basic 1403 Firefighting training (required by OSHA), MN Dept. of Health First Responder Training, Previous Firefighting experience, First Aid/CPR Certified.
