    Weekend Session:      

    Thursday, April 11 from 5 pm to 7 pm

    Friday, April 12 from 3 pm to 7 pm

    Saturday,  April 13 from 9 am to 4 pm

    (Class times can be adjusted according to student’s schedules-must be a group consensus.)


    • Pre-Test
    1. Swim 200 yards, (50 yards head up to sight a victim, without stopping. Swim 50 yards, head up to sight a victim with rescue tube)
    2. Tread water for 2 minutes without use of hands
    3. Brick Swim-Retrieve brick off bottom of pool and swim to opposite end of pool with brick in both hands above water
    • Must be 15 years of age by the last day of class; must provide photo id-NO EXCEPTIONS!!

    **This is an online hybrid course. Participants are required to complete 2 to 3 hours of independent study prior to attending each classroom/pool setting. Students whom do not complete independent study and online training will risk failing this course. Student will be required to bring in the certification of completion from the online course on the first day of class. More instructions will be given the first day of class.

    Cost: $35 due at the time of registration (non-refundable)

              $50 due after pre-test

  • The Waseca Water Park accepts debit/credit cards and cash only.  Sorry, no checks are accepted.

In the event of inclement weather, the Waseca Water Park will be closed. If the temperature and/or wind chill fall below 70 degrees (F) and/or there are less than 15 patrons in the pool for a one-hour time period, the water park will be closed. In case of questionable weather conditions, please refer to the “Is the pool open” link on our website.
