The Waseca Municipal Airport is located 2 miles west of the City of Waseca and just 80 miles south of Minneapolis-St. Paul.    The Airport has 26 single engine based aircraft, and sees between 6,000 and 12,500 annual operations including business, private recreational, air medical/emergency life support, agricultural sprayers and more.  The Waseca Airport includes a paved 3400 ft. long runway, aviation fuel and a newer arrival/departure building that provides updated amenities for the public, including public restrooms, vending machines, a meeting room and pilot preparation area with access to the internet.   The City of Waseca contracts with Stensrud Aviation to be the fixed base operator (FBO) of the Airport and provides full FBO services including fuel sales, general aviation maintenance services, flight instruction and aircraft rental.

The Airport includes 18 existing t-hangars that are leased by the City and also now has a new taxi-lane constructed in 2012 which offers 9 leasable ground sites ranging in size from 80’ x 80’ to 120’ x 180’.  These sites are ready for the construction of a private hangar at extremely reasonable lease prices.  If you would like more information about the ground lease sites, or any other activities at the Waseca Municipal Airport, please contact the City of Waseca at 507.835.9700.
